VASCOPLAN is concerned about preserving the confidentiality of your personal information and attaches great importance to protecting the privacy of the users of its services.

The purpose of the Privacy Policy is to define the rules applicable to the collection and processing of your personal information (hereinafter "Personal Data") via our online sales website. Personal Data is defined as any information relating to a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, such as the surname, first names, email and postal addresses of a natural person, his or her image in a photograph or video, an IP address, location data, a number plate, etc.


Our Privacy Policy details the Personal Information we collect and process through our online sales website, the purposes for which we process your Personal Information, how we use it and the features we offer to enable you to access and update your Personal Information.


The Privacy Policy is an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale of the website. It applies to all users of our website, regardless of whether they are professionals or private individuals.


2. Accepting and updating our Privacy Policy

By ticking the box "I have read and accept the Privacy Policy" online, you (as a User) confirm that you have read and accept this policy without restriction or reservation. If you do not agree with any of its terms, you are free not to use or no longer use our services (in case of modification of the terms of the Policy).

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time, but any reduction in your rights will not be implemented without your consent. Therefore, we will post new versions of the Privacy Policy on the website.

3. Person responsible for the processing of Personal Data

The processing of Personal Data of Users registered on the website is subject to French law, in particular to Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms, as amended (known as "Loi Informatique et Libertés"), as well as to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 applicable as of 25 May 2018 (known as the GPR).

 In this capacity, we undertake, within the framework of our activities, to respect the provisions of the said Law, and to carry out a lawful, fair and transparent processing of your Personal Data. In particular, we undertake to process data for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes, without being processed further in a manner incompatible with these purposes, for a period that does not exceed the time required for the purposes for which they are collected and processed.


4. Categories of Personal Data collected and processed via the website


a) Personal data that you provide to VASCOPLAN

We collect Personal Data from Internet users who wish to: find out more about our activities (via the contact form), receive our latest news (newsletter) and purchase products on our website (registration and order forms).

Access to and use of the website implies the collection and processing of your Personal Data, namely name, first name, telephone number, e-mail and postal addresses, professional information (company name, Compagny registred number, sector of activity, number of employees), etc. Some information is compulsory (followed by an asterisk) and others are optional as indicated in the form.

5. Terms of use of Personal Data


a) Purposes of the collection and processing of your Personal Data

Users' Personal Data is collected and processed only for the purposes set out in this article, namely: (i) Providing and managing our services; (ii) Managing your product orders; (iii) Communicating with Users and improving the quality of our services, i.e. answering your questions and informing you of our news; (iv) Fighting online fraud; (v) Resolving any possible dispute or solving any problem in the context of the use of our services; (vi) Generating statistical reports and studies on the basis of anonymised data

Any use of Personal Data for purposes other than those set out above in our Privacy Policy will require your express prior consent.

The legal basis for the collection of your Personal Data for the above-mentioned purposes is your consent as provided for in Article 6-1-a of the European Regulation on personal data. This constitutes the free, specific, informed and unambiguous expression of will by which you agree, by the positive act of accepting this Privacy Policy, that Personal Data concerning you may be processed.

As provided for in Article 7 of the GDPR, you may withdraw your consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on your consent carried out prior to your withdrawal.


b) How long we keep your Personal Data

We undertake to keep your Personal Data only for as long as is strictly necessary for the purposes mentioned above, and in any case within the limits imposed by law. Therefore, depending on the type of Personal Data, the storage period may vary from a few days to several years.

In any case, we undertake to delete your Personal Data from our databases at the end of these different periods.

However, we may retain certain information for a period of time after the closure of your personal or business account in order to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations and, in particular, to prevent unlawful conduct after the deletion of your personal or business account. In this case, your data will be deactivated and will no longer be accessible online.

6. Sharing information with third parties


a) No communication to third parties

We undertake not to divulge to any third party the information and Personal Data that you communicate to us. This information and Personal Data is used exclusively by our internal services and will not be transferred or sold to third parties without your prior express consent.


b) Communication for external processing needs

Your information and Personal Data may, if necessary, be transmitted to third party subcontractors involved in the provision of our services (technical service providers, payment and hosting service providers, customer follow-up and satisfaction surveys, management of security incidents or fraudulent activity, etc.).

VASCOPLAN undertakes to communicate your information and Personal Data only to authorised and trusted service providers, who process them on our behalf, according to our instructions and in compliance with these Confidentiality Rules and in compliance with all other appropriate security and confidentiality measures.


c) Communication for legal and judicial reasons

Furthermore, your information and Personal Data may be disclosed to a third party if VASCOPLAN is obliged to do so by law, a regulatory provision, or a court order, or if this disclosure is necessary for the purposes of an investigation, injunction or legal proceedings, on national territory or abroad.

Similarly, we may share your information and Personal Data with third party companies, consultants or individuals in order to:

d) Transfer of data outside the European Union


We do not transfer any Personal Data outside the European Union

We implement all the necessary security measures to protect your Personal Data against any access and any unauthorised disclosure, modification, damage or destruction of data we hold.

 To this end, VASCOPLAN and its technical and hosting service providers have implemented appropriate measures to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and security of your Personal Data. However, we cannot guarantee that your communications and other Personal Data will not be intercepted or disclosed by a third party.

Please note that your Personal Information is stored on servers located in the European Union.

 In order to contribute to the security of your Personal Information, please ensure that you choose a sufficiently protective password when registering for our Service. Under the Terms and Conditions of Use of the Site to which you have agreed, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and its use.


8. Protecting the rights of the users of the website

You have a right to information and access (e.g. to check the data we keep about you), a right to rectification and deletion (to update or correct your data), a right to limit the processing of personal data, a right to portability, a right to object, and a right to deletion (e.g. to close your personal or professional account) of your Personal Data.

In addition, it should be noted that these rights provide you with the opportunity to change your notification preferences at any time, by accepting or refusing to have your Personal Data used in our marketing or promotional activities.
